8-Port USB Charger Review: The Compact Travel Charging Station That Charges Your Entire Family’s Devices

In a world of many devices, you need to power them properly, and a standard wall plug just won’t cut it. You need something that can power multiple devices at a time. What am I talking about? Well, let’s find out.

USB Hubs

I have had several USB hubs that have powered my devices for a few years. Here they are.

These have served their purpose over the years. One was a good size, and I could carry it in my cord bag. I still do. However, something is rattling around inside. But it still works.

But I needed something else, something smaller. So I picked up something else.

New USB Hub

I was looking for something a bit smaller that would fit in my smaller cord bag. I found one, and here it is

It has 8 ports, 4 USB-A and 4 USB-C. It’s nice that the devices are leaning toward USB-C cables. So much more convenient.

It fits in my smaller cord bag. This goes in my backpack so my gadgets can be charged via eight ports at once.

Compact size

Yes, it is a small one indeed. Friendly and discreet, it doesn’t take up that much room. But it does pack a punch. If I don’t want to carry my cord bag around, I can fit it in one of my backpack’s pockets. But why take it that way? You can’t charge anything if you don’t have any cords.

Cons

I really have only one complaint about this charger. It is the cord that is attached to the charger. Yep, it’s connected. I am sure I can find one with a cord that can separate from the charger.

Oh, wait, I did find one, and it is my wife’s

I thought the white one would come like the pink one. But it is OK. I can make it work.

Thoughts

I like it, it does the job that it is intended to do. So it works for me.

Picked it up on Amazon.
