New YouTube Studio Set UP

Back in 2020, when we were building the current house we’re in. I could have a room to myself.

Office

So, I had a room in the house where my wife and I discussed the rooms in the house. She was going to have one room upstairs for her office, and I was going to have the other room. Mine was a bit bigger. But she said it was fine.

This room right here

It was going to be my office. I was going to divide it up to have

• Desk area
• Printer area
• YouTube studio area
• A closet to store stuff in
• I put in a TV package on the wall
  • Hang a TV and keep the wires out of sight.
• Installed network plugs in the locations I thought would be the best, based on my vision.
• Tubing under the floor so I can string an HDMI cable from one wall to the other wall to stream videos on the TV from my MacBook

I had it all planned out. I was getting things ready for the office, thinking I would have to at some point. But in the meantime.

Currently, my office is located in the front room, a space that some might refer to as a living room.

Since my son had one room, my wife had the room for her office.

We finished a couple of rooms downstairs so my kids could move out.

Dream is Gone

Now that my wife has decided to have the big room. I am now left without that dream. I know you are rude.

So I made something downstairs.

I found a spot downstairs that might help me out with my studio. Now it’s only temporary, so it’s likely to last around 10 years or so. Or until my wife says Oh, hell no. Or we finish the basement.

This is just a corner in the basement, right behind the door.

I cleaned it up and placed this backdrop up. I needed two of them.

Moved my son’s old desk over there for a background.

I have my ring light.

I added a couple of lights to increase the light down there. These have a blue filter on them.

Needs more light, but it is a start. The audio might not be the best, but I am working on it. It is a work in progress.
