We have talked about a couple of apps that Apple provides on its devices. There are several more, but I just talked about two of them. What is the Apple ecosystem?
Eco
Right now, I have the following:
- MacBook Pro
- iPhone
- iPad
- Apple Watch
- AirPods
The good thing is that you need an Apple ID to use an Apple device, which means that things are a bit better connected.
Once I sign into my Apple ID using my Email, the email is read on all my devices.
I can put a reminder on my MacBook, and it will appear on my watch.
You can start something on your iPad and finish up on your MacBook. Now, with the AirPods, you can switch between devices.

Third Party Apps
I use some third-party apps like
- OneNote
- Evernote
- MS office
- Google Suite
Even though these are all cloud-based, it is nice to have them update on one of my Mac devices. I consider that a great part of the ecosystem. Some people might not agree with me, but hey, we all have our opinions.
The ID lets you do many things with Apple. You can create a family, and once they are part of the family, you can share apps, reminders, and notes with other Apple users as well. It comes in handy, making the Apple ecosystem much more useful.
Flows
I am a happy camper with my Apple devices, the integration they have, and how easy it is to do work and get things done. I love how it flows together.
Exchange Service
Yes, this is what the Exchange server could do for you. If you used an Exchange server and had Outlook, then you could put a task or calendar item in, and it would show up on your other devices—as long as you have your Exchange email on your second device.
CarPlay
Do I consider this to be part of the ecosystem? It is just an extension of the iPhone. Maybe I will do a video about CarPlay and my opinion on it. But it is a useful part of the Apple Eco System.
Next Week
I will be talking about the seasonal picks. It will be a good one.
YouTube
Of course, I did a video
