It was the year 2010 and something and all was quiet on the video game side of things until a new gaming system was released. Yes, a new gaming system was released what difference will this make now. There are so many gaming systems out there.

Changed the world as we knew it, well OK just changed the gaming world as we knew it. This is when Nintendo decided to switch things up. They realized the Switch. What exactly is the Switch, you might ask?
What is the Switch
Well, the Switch is a handheld game which contains the following:
- Switch Console
- A dock
- 2 Joy-Con controllers (left and right) and straps
- A Joy-Con Grip
- AC Power Adapter
- HDMI Cable
This didn’t come with games or anything else as it was feared the entry price would be too high for the consumers. However, the following games each sold 10 Million units each:
- The Legend of Zelda
- Breath of the Wild
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Pokemon: Let’s Go
- Pokemon Sword and shield
The Switch has sold over 52 million units worldwide
What is the big deal
This is a game console you can use in your hand as you are walking around. On the bus or where ever. You can then hook it up to a TV and continue to play the game without missing a beat. That is why it is called a switch. It continues to be a hot item and it is sold out right now.
