Polaroid SX 70

Photography has come a long way since the 1800’s when this photo was taken

Photos back in the late 1800s and early 1900’s it took some time to develop the film. But in the 1947 Polaroid introduced something called the Land Camera Model 95 which used something called instant film. This type of film was used to produce photographs instantly. So no more waiting around for the film to develop.

When you took a picture with this camera, the picture ejected automatically and it developed very quickly.  When this was introduced in April of 1972, Edwin H Land,  pulled something from his pocket.  Within 10 seconds he had taken 5 pictures. Oh, I know that you can take like 500 pictures nowadays in that of time.

In 1972 this was a big improvement, the first one was sold in Miami. In 1973, the started to sell nationally. This gadget sold for $180 and $6.90 for each film pack of ten (10) pictures.
