Tech Backpack (old)

I have a whole bunch of tech stuff that I take with me on my trips to document my travel for my blogs. Yes, it is just a backpack that I used for school to carry my laptop. My wife says it is just too big to carry.

Got this for School

I got this bag for school, I got tired of carrying a computer bag around, which was heavy due to all my books and stuff. I was working on my second bachelor’s degree.

My back always hurt due to the strap being on one shoulder, so I was looking for a new backpack. I found this one on Amazon and got it on Jan. 21, 2013, nine years ago.

Tech stuff

My bag needs to hold the following:

  • MacBook Pro 13” laptop
  • iPad and keyboard
  • Cord bag
  • Small video recorder
  • Doxie scanner
  • My Gimbal for iPhone and GoPro want a be
  • Microphone for iPhone
  • Tripod
  • Small camera to plug into a computer
    • Like a Logitech HD web camera
  • A new small camera, the DJI Osmo Pocket.

Bag

It is just a backpack with 12 pockets. I love it because it has so many pockets. Let’s break down the bag and pockets.

Front of bag

This pocket you open up and you have the following:

  • A place for your keys
  • Pencils or pens
  • Business cards (use them for something else)
  • USB holder
  • As a zipper for another pocket.

Second front pocket

You open it up, and it has a mesh zipper pocket to hold stuff.

Middle pocket

You have a divider in it to put other things in, like an iPad or school books.

Top Pocket

Here is a top Pocket that holds miscellaneous stuff.

Back pocket

It holds up to a 17″ laptop, I know since I used to have one, and it has another pocket for some stuff.

Rest of the bag

There are two zippers on the side for putting things in and two mesh pockets for holding a water bottle.

Been a Good bag

It carried my books and my 17-inch HP laptop. That thing was a beast to lug around.

I have used this bag for a long time. I converted it to my Tech bag, and I have used it for the last few years while traveling. My wife hated this backpack. When it was fully packed, it was 22 lbs. and 12″ wide. That is from my back; yeah, it stuck out that far. I still use it from time to time. I would highly recommend it.

I am still learning about Video Making, so bear with me.
